Cookie policy
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files your browser stores when you visit a website. They let the site recognise your browser on subsequent pages or visits. Similar technologies (local storage, pixel tags) do the same job in slightly different ways — where this policy says "cookies" we mean all of them.
2. The cookies we set
We group cookies by what they do. You can opt out of Analytics and Advertising at any time via our cookie banner or directly with the providers below.
2.1 Strictly necessary (always on)
These make the booking flow work. Without them the site doesn't function — so they cannot be turned off.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ccy (localStorage) | Remembers your currency choice | Until you change it or clear storage |
pending_order (sessionStorage) | Carries your booking state between pages | Current browser session only |
__stripe_* | Stripe fraud prevention for payment | 1 year (Stripe-managed) |
2.2 Analytics (opt-in)
Anonymised site-usage data so we can fix what's broken and improve what works. IP addresses are anonymised at collection.
| Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Anonymised page views and conversions | Up to 26 months |
| Microsoft Clarity | Masked session replay (we can't see what you type) | 1 year |
| ContentSquare | Funnel analysis, masked | 13 months |
2.3 Advertising (opt-in)
Used to measure the effectiveness of our Google Ads and Meta campaigns — not to profile you.
| Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Google Ads (gclid) | Attribute bookings to the ad that drove them | 90 days |
| Meta Pixel | Attribute bookings to Facebook/Instagram ads | 90 days |
3. How to control cookies
- On this site — use the cookie banner on first visit, or clear your browser's storage for this domain to be prompted again.
- In your browser — every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies. See allaboutcookies.org for step-by-step instructions.
- With Google — Google Analytics opt-out and Ads settings.
- With Meta — Meta ad preferences.
4. Do Not Track
Our analytics providers honour the browser-level "Do Not Track" signal where one is sent. We do not set advertising cookies on sessions that send DNT.
5. Changes
If we add, remove, or change a cookie in a way that materially affects you, we will update this page and refresh the last-updated date at the top.
